Air Evac Lifeteam and Kiamichi Electric are working to offer Air Evac memberships for co-op members.

For only $5 added to your monthly electric bill and no money down, members of Kiamichi Electric can also become members of Air Evac Lifeteam, the most significant independently-owned air ambulance service in the country.

Once an individual becomes a member, Air Evac Lifeteam works on behalf of their insurance provider for compensation for the cost of the flight. Whatever the insurance company pays is considered payment in full.

Although Air Evac Lifeteam’s emergency medical helicopters provide service to anyone, the membership program offers significant benefits. If Air Evac Lifeteam flies you, your membership fee is considered payment in full for the flight.

With access to trauma care being centered in larger metropolitan areas, having access to an Air Evac helicopter can often make the difference in the outcome of a medical emergency.

“We live in a rural area and understand the importance of timely medical care, and Air Evac Lifeteam helps provide that,” said Kiamichi Electric CEO Brett Orme.

Air Evac Lifeteam is a membership-supported air ambulance company that provides emergency care and rapid medical transport to rural communities throughout the central U.S. The Air Evac Lifeteam base in McAlester, Okla., covers Kiamichi Electric Coop members and is located at 1005 North Strong Blvd, and has been in service since June 2000. The company operates 95 bases in 14 states and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems.
